In an effort to continue guarantee highest security standards for all TableAir products and solutions. As of firmware version 706, our sensors are now capable of handling WPA2/WPA-Enterprise WiFi authentication.
This ensures our IoT devices can be safely connected to the enterprise network, alleviating a lot of risks of getting breached by potential attacks.
Various kinds of the Extensible Authentication Protocols (EAPs) are supported for authentication. Our engineering team has prepared a fully working solution for PEAP/EAP-MSCHAP authentication protocol which is widely used in office environments.
WPA2/WPA-Enterprise WiFi authentication is handling communication with a RADIUS authentication server. A CA certificate is available for an update via TableAir mobile application.
