TableAir participated in the Proptech Decarbonisation Bootcamp, held on March 20-21, marking a significant move towards sustainable practices within the built environment.
The event, organized by PropTech Lithuania, gathered industry leaders, startups, investors, and policymakers to discuss and explore innovative solutions to decarbonize the built environment. Representatives from at least 7 countries and 3 continents were among the attendees, reflecting a global commitment to tackling climate challenges.
The inaugural day kicked off with thought-provoking panel discussions and introduction of the startups. As part of the day’s agenda, attendees were treated to an insightful tour of a Business Garden building that had received LEED Platinum certification. The tour provided real-world examples of sustainable construction and operation practices and valuable insights into environmentally conscious features.
The two-day intensive program showcased real examples of tackling climate issues in the built environment and facilitated over 200 meetings, fostering meaningful connections between startups, real estate developers, investors, and other ecosystem players.
After the tour, industry leaders, startups, investors, and policymakers facilitated over 200 meetings to share insights and foster new partnerships. The conversations were marked by enthusiasm and a shared commitment to driving sustainable change.
The second day commenced with a dynamic workshop to empower participants with actionable insights and tools to accelerate their organizations’ decarbonisation efforts. Following the workshop, attendees embarked on a tour of a building complex, further showcasing best practices in sustainable building design and management.
The day’s highlight was the Demo Day, held in a chapel, where startups had the opportunity to showcase their company’s value. TableAir, among other things, presented its initiatives to transform hybrid workplaces into more environmentally friendly environments by emphasizing the importance of space utilization. The event culminated in an awards ceremony where Turto bankas expressed a keen interest in learning more about TableaAir initiatives. As they said, “Not using the potential of startups is a sin. You just need to talk and look for common points of activity.”
The day concluded with an inspiring keynote address by renowned industry expert James Dearsley, who shed light on the future of sustainable development and the pivotal role of collaboration in achieving shared goals.
TableAir’s involvement in the Proptech Decarbonisation Bootcamp exemplifies its commitment to sustainability, innovation, and collaboration.
